Six Healthy Foods That Can Make You Fat
It can be difficult at times, i agree.
One minute you’re being told to eat more fat and less
Then you’re being told that carbs aren’t that bad but
fat is the culprit behind your belly bulge woes
Then the next; total calories are all that matter.
Sometimes you just think,
Bugger it, i’ll just try to eat ‘healthy’ and that should help
you lose fat, tone up and fit back into that killer dress
(Hey, if you’re a dude reading this, i don’t judge what you do
But you still end up being left with that spare tyre across the middle and still not looking in the mirror and being
happy with your progress.
So here are SIX foods that are ‘healthy’ but can quickly rack up
the calories and expand your spanx a little further.
Weighing in at anywhere between 300 and 500 calories per avocado,
this can make up roughly 1/4 to 1/3 of your total calories for
Moorish, tasty and hard to put down once you start.
Nuts are VERY easy to overeat and for a small bag of nuts (100g)
you will be adding around 600 calories to your daily intake
3. Nut Butters
Same as nuts, except even HARDER to leave alone.
Kinda like pringles; once you pop you can stop sticking
that spoon in the jar.
Add that to rice cakes, oat cakes or whatever you spread your
nut butter on and you’re hitting the high calorie spot to
wipe out those intervals you’ve just done in the gym
4. Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Walnut Oils, Butter
Coconut Oil and Olive Oils are the darlings of fats and
provide much benefit to the old the ticker,
But weighing in at hundreds of calories per tablespoon, it’s
easy to see how you can overeat cooking oils and butter.
Now, please don’t tell me you put any of these in your coffee 😉
5. Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate is better for you than regular chocolate, right?
YES! and it has more beneficial nutrients like antioxidants and
so on inside.
But… it’s hefty on the calories and just 100g of dark choc
can rack up 500-600 calories!
6. Dried Fruit
Same as dark choc.
Fruit is good for you, right?
Vitamins, minerals, antoxidants, polyphenols and other good stuff.
But again, just like the nut butters they’re hard to leave alone and
can easily mean that you’ve blown it when it comes to daily calorie intake.
Coming in at 300 – 400 calories per 100g and usually combined with
some nuts, those calories come flying in.
These foods are ‘healthy’ but only if you don’t overeat them 😉
and quickest ways to STOP losing weight and body fat is to;
1. Overeat calories
2. Overeat Carbs
3. Overeat Fats
Healthy foods are important in the diet, but at the end of the day calories in and out are STILL going to rule when it comes to
